Electric Vehicles or EV's 

EV's or Electric Vehicles are a viable option.  They do have certain limitations and can be costly.  We will add more information when we compile some useful information.  Until then, there is a link to a great company that will answer all of your questions on the links page

Among the many projects we have ongoing, we are currently researching components and designs to convert a motorcycle to electric.  The specifications we will require for our motorcycle will be a minimum top speed of 75 mph and a minimum range of 50 miles.  We will require it to be able to receive a full charge in 6 hours or less.  With these specifications it will be a useful commuter vehicle for my typical commute. I have to travel 37 miles one way, travel on a freeway for several miles that has a speed limit of 75 mph and I could get it fully recharged during a typical workday.  One motorcycle candidate we already have is a 1981 Kawasaki GPz550 that does not run currently.  We will update this page as this project gets underway.
